Our BREP Photographer will be the only person in the home during the photography shoot to comply with the social distancing process; photographer assistance is not needed.
How to protect yourself CDC Prevention.

OPEN HOUSE

Because traditional open houses are no longer compliant with the social distancing requirements your photo shoot will be your virtual OPEN HOUSE. The combination of the HDR Stills, Virtual Tour, 3D scanning (Matterport), Floorplans and Aerial Photography will be your Open House available to potential home buyers 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Organizing a home for photos is a process that must begin well before your photo shoot date in order to impress potential buyers. Your shoot will be done as so invest the time and make your photo shoot count big in your home marketing plan for you.

PRE-SHOOT CHECKLIST

Thoroughly clean whole house (clean countertops, vacuum carpet, mop hard floors, clean windows)
Replace all burned out light bulbs with the same temperature bulbs soft, bright and so forth
Remove personal photographs (replace with generic photographs)
Let your neighbors know about your photo shoot and ask them to not park in front of your home on the day of the shoot

KITCHEN: Pre-Shoot

Clear countertops completely, no knife blocks, cooking supplies, mail, and so forth
One small appliance (coffee maker) can remain but none is better
Clear refrigerator exterior of magnets, papers, photos, and so forth
Hide garbage cans in the pantry or closet if the pantry is a focal point use another area
Remove dishes from sink and place in dishwasher
Remove all towels especially from appliances (oven, cabinet and refrigerator doors)

DINING ROOM: Pre-Shoot

Clear table, dust and polish the table top.
Use decorative place setting if available using one center piece such as a bouquet of flowers
Straighten all chairs and space them evenly.
Remove child seats/booster chairs.

LIVING and FAMILY ROOM: Pre-Shoot

Remove stacks of magazines, papers, mail, and so forth
Declutter fireplace mantel and hearth use only 3-4 items including artwork.
Clean interior of fireplace and re-paint or decorate if needed
Fluff and arrange furniture pillows
Remove kid’s toys

MASTER BEDROOM: Pre-Shoot

Make bed, and use decorative pillows and shams if available
Press bed linens and bed skirts
Clear nightstands of all personal items
Store away phone/tablet charging cables
Remove all clutter from top of dressers
Clean under bed, removing items that may show in the photos

KIDS and GUEST BEDROOMS

Remove personalized names from walls
Remove wall stickers and posters
Remove diaper genies
Clean under bed, removing items that may show in the photos

BATHROOMS

Clear countertops, completely remove soap, toothbrushes, medications, deodorant, and so forth
Put toilet seats down
Close closet doors
Remove shampoo, soap, loofahs, and so forth from showers and tubs
Remove dirty towels – leave out only new, unused towels
Remove floor mats

FRONT EXTERIOR: Pre-Shoot

Clean up landscaping by mowing, trimming shrubs, clearing leaves
Remove or re-plant empty planters.
Remove cobwebs from eaves and door frames
Remove visible water hoses
Remove toys, sports balls, temporary basketball goals, soccer goals, and so forth

BACKYARD: Pre-Shoot

Clean porch or patio, tidy up outdoor tables/chairs/cushions
Pillows/cushions should be fresh, not faded
Clear out kid’s toys, balls, frisbees, and so forth
Clean pool
Remove pool vacuum/cleaner hose
Hide pool cleaning supplies
Turn on pool fountains/water features
Remove visible water hoses
Remove trash cans

PETS

Place food and water bowls in pantry or closet
Place pet beds/toys in pantry or closet
Use lint roller on furniture to remove pet hair
Be prepared to contain pets in a hidden crate inside or outside or remove them.
Clear back yard of pet waste/toys

SHOOT DAY

REVIEW PRE-SHOOT CHECKLIST

One hour prior to your scheduled shoot appointment get ready by doing the following.

INTERIOR: Shoot Day

Counters and hard surfaces will be wiped down prior to the photographers scheduled arrival to maximize virus control

Turn on all lights
Turn all ceiling fans OFF
Turn all TVs OFF
Turn all computer screens OFF
Open blinds and window treatments for outside light
Make all beds
Clear countertops completely
Straighten all wall art and mirrors
Remove small floor rugs to reveal actual flooring
Place all shoes and jackets in closets
Close garage doors
Remove cars from the driveway and front of home and keep neighbors from parking in front of your home
Contain pets in hidden crates inside or outside or remove them.
